Diablo 2 Patch Downgrade
If the game is installed from insert any source but blizz installer and then upgraded to 1.14a and downgraded afterwards, it will work. Diablo 2 Version Changer (Classic 1.00 - LoD 1.14d). New v1.14 digital installers by Blizzard you cannot downgrade your Diablo 2 installation to older patches.

Im trying to get an old version of Diablo 2 ...
i have 1.03, but i used to have 1.00 , which i bought on release day , and lost it onfortunately while i was moving to another town.
my question :
can i downgrade the 1.03 to 1.01 or 1.00 ?
is there anyone who knows where i can get a version of diablo 2 , that old ?
does not matter if buying or downloading, i already bought the game like 3 times, so i dont care for a fourth time.
i just want to have this version, to play it in lan with my friends !!
nostalgia feeling etc

Ok, bought another battle chest to reinstall diablo II but found out to my unpleasant surprise that the latest version of the battlechest apparently installs to version 1.12 of the game which doesn't work considering I want to run version 1.10 (offline only) so I can run an old mod I enjoy. I found a few things on downgrading from 1.11d but nothing from 1.12. Does anyone have any helpful advice on getting the game back to the 1.10 configuration so it will work with the mod I want?
